Inner Wheel day - fun and friendship in action

The annual Charter party held at Kelham Hall. Hazel and Di show off their handiwork displaying banners received from other Clubs, also the Rotary and Inner Wheel Presidents show off their chains of office whilst having a pre Charter drink!

District Chairman Mary and Club President Penelope cut
the Club's 54th birthday cake.

The National Conference was held in Bournemouth in April and was well attended by club members and their partners. A 'Pearly kings and Queens' theme for the President's evening gave everyone a good excuse for dressing up. Our District Chairman Mary with Association President Pam at the start of an excellent 'knees up'.

The District Rally - A service in Southwell Minster followed by a slap up meal at Kelham Hall was much enjoyed by all and provided a wonderful opportunity for hat wearing. District Chairman Mary and President Penelope, both from our Club, looked the part on this splendid occasion.

And finally.......One of the last events of the year was a Dance Show performed by pupils of the Tozer Dance School to raise money for the Rosie May Orphanage in Sri Lanka. A succesful evening which meant we were able to sponsor a young victim of the Tsunami for the next four years.
